Emily, a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, has always had a keen interest in food. However, as a child, she was known for being a picky eater. As she matured, she began to appreciate the vast array of food available to her and made a conscious decision to broaden her palate. Emily has since tried a wide variety of exotic and unconventional dishes, including tacos with fried grasshoppers, pigs’ blood curd, and black ant guacamole.
In 2017, she started an Instagram account to share her culinary experiences with a wider audience, which quickly gained popularity among locals in the community. Her friends were constantly curious about the unique places she had dined at and the dishes she had tried, which inspired her to create a dedicated Instagram account for her food-related posts. She also began working with local businesses, providing them with professional food photography and consulting services. Emily continues to explore the local food scene and share her findings with the world.
